‘Has Obama Waged a War on Religion?’ (To read and/or listen to the story, visit NPR)

If you’re insistent on taking federal monies, you should play by the same rules as everyone else. If gay-bashing and preventing women from having autonomy over their bodies are “cherished beliefs” and at “the core of [your] beliefs,” then you should probably reconsider what it is that you believe.

There is no war on religion. These people are mad that minorities of all stripes refuse to sit back and take it. They pine for the days when women kept their mouths shut and their asses in the kitchen. They pine for the days when there were only white people in the mass media and when they could pretend to hide from their prejudices.
There is without a doubt a war on secularism. These dishonest shitheads are trying to cast themselves as the victims because they refuse to accept that the world is changing. These conservative Christians want their own religious beliefs enshrined in the civil laws of America, but have the audacity to pass laws that ban the use of Sharia law for any purpose. They can talk to me about oppression when Christians are as distrusted as a demographic as rapists.
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.”Matthew 23:25-26
Given the talk of all of this current clowncar of Republican Presidential hopefuls, none of them have even actually read what the Bible has to say beyond their proof texts. They are at direct odds with everything that Jesus taught. They are heretics and hatemongers. They are the Pharisees and the Sadducees. They practice and preach all that is evil.
I spit on them all.
